Mindfulness across borders. The Speyerer Erlichschule has a new Erasmus project. The two teachers Wiebke Levens and Christina von Pabrutzki are just back from the first meeting in Belgium. It's about the topic: "Developing healthy and creative citizens". The last Erasmus plus project to date, in which the school participated from 2016 to 2018, focused on the meaningful use of new media. In Belgium, the two teachers met old acquaintances because the participating schools in Wales, Belgium and Spain also participated in the previous project. New are a school from Vienna and another from Belgium. Over the next two school years, there will be six teachers' meetings over five days, where topics will be worked out together, which will be implemented in as many classes as possible in each school and presented at the next meeting. The focus is on: mental well-being & mindfulness, healthy nutrition & entrepreneurship, creative work on identity, movement in everyday school life and online safety. In the coming months, students and teachers will first deal with the topic of mindfulness and start a survey on feelings and how to deal with difficult feelings. The results will be photographed and documented and presented at the next meeting in Valencia in March. From the 3rd to the 7th of June 2019 the Erlichschule will be the host.
